WHO IS HABERT .A. OMBAYO?

The local Kenyan Media and Arts industry is growing very fast and this has led to the birth of fresh, talented & creative young people joining the high demanding field.

One of them is Habert  .A. Ombayo, a 26 year old, born and raised in Kakamega county, Emahungu village. A trained journalist & enterprenuer  who has so far chose to stick to film production, and as this seem, his bold decision is paying out.

At only 26, he has achieved a commendable milestone with the greatest being, The Executive Producer of HEKAYA, a TV drama series that airs every Monday at 7PM on QTV,The drama is a production of Luyali Media.

Habert owns two registered media companies, Habodigital Media Inc and Shoeback Media. where the first one deals with music and entertainment productions, while the later focuses on corporate, advertising and branding related productions.

Habert is also a lethal camera person/video editor, with vast experience in directing where he has so far directed several music video, like, Cry for peace by stand up comedian cum actor cum spoken word artiste skeletronixx (Felix Warutere), Mulai wanje by Jay Pilatto and a full video album by Meisi Tamar, all that have been well received by the public.

Currently, He is part of the crew that is working on several soon to come TV shows, both on local channels and internationally.

His biggest dream is to shoot adverts for the leading firms in the country like Safaricom, EABL, Unilever, and Cocacola.

What many dont know about Habert is that, he was born and raised in rural western Kenya, Kakamega county. and he never been in Nairobi till 2009, when he first came to the city. But, today, most people think he was born and raised in the city.

He believes in God's favor through prayer, hard work, respect and being simple to work with anyone who has passion and a dream.
